For High-FPS Gaming – AOC C27G2Z

For competitive players who want to stick with 1080p gaming and enjoy the buttery-smooth performance, the AOC C27G2Z is the way to go. It has a refresh rate of 240Hz and supports AMD’s FreeSync technology. Plus, its 0.5ms response time ensures that you won’t miss a beat – or a frame – during fast-paced action.

The 1500R curvature of the AOC C27G2Z also provides an immersive gaming experience, while the VA panel delivers rich colors and deep blacks. Although the IPS panel is still superior in terms of color accuracy and viewing angles, the VA panel is more than good enough for most gamers. The contrast ratio, on the other hand, is excellent – at 3000:1, you’ll be able to see the tiniest details in the darkest of scenes.

Taking a look at the design, the AOC C27G2Z has a three-sided frameless design that looks simply gorgeous. The bezels are super-thin, making them an excellent choice for multi-monitor setups. The stand is also very sturdy, so you won’t have to worry about your monitor wobbling around during intense gaming sessions.

As for ergonomics, it’s kinda mediocre, it only offers height adjustability. But since it is VESA wall mountable, you can always get a third-party stand or mount that offers more options. Overall, the AOC C27G2Z is an excellent choice for gamers who want a fast 1080p monitor.

Budget Option – LG 24GN600-B UltraGear

LG 24GN600-B UltraGear

If you want to save some money and still get a great gaming monitor, then the LG 24GN600-B UltraGear is the way to go.

Despite its lower price tag, this monitor still features a 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms (GtG) response time. So, gaming on this monitor will still be smooth. Plus, with AMD FreeSync Premium support, you’ll be able to take advantage of variable refresh rates to help reduce screen tearing and stuttering.

In terms of image quality, the LG 24GN600-B UltraGear delivers excellent image quality thanks to its HDR10 support and 99% sRGB color gamut. So, colors will appear accurate and vibrant, making games look great. The IPS panel also provides wide viewing angles, so you’ll be able to see the screen clearly from virtually any angle.

The LG 24GN600-B UltraGear also features a very sturdy stand. So, it will be able to support the weight of the monitor without any problems. However, the stand only offers tilt adjustment, so you won’t be able to adjust the height or swivel the monitor.

I would say this monitor is quite hard to beat in terms of value. It offers a great gaming experience without breaking the bank.

Excellent 1440p Monitor– SAMSUNG Odyssey G5

SAMSUNG Odyssey G5

Moving on with our 1440p recommendation, we have the Samsung Odyssey G5. It’s a 27-inch monitor with a 2560x1440p resolution.

Gaming on this monitor is fantastic thanks to the 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. FreeSync Premium is also included, which will help to reduce stuttering and screen tearing if you’re using an AMD graphics card – perfectly matched with the Radeon RX 6700 XT.

If you care about image quality, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with the Odyssey G5. It uses a VA panel with HDR10 support. The display has great color accuracy with excellent coverage of the sRGB color space as well. Moreover, the contrast ratio is also quite good, at 2,500:1. That means blacks will look nice and inky, while whites will be bright and crisp.

Aesthetically, the Odyssey G5 is a gaming monitor through and through. The design is all about being aggressive and in your face. The stand is quite sturdy too, so you won’t have to worry about the monitor wobbling around during intense gaming sessions.

The only downside of the Odyssey G5 is that it doesn’t have any height adjustment. You can only tilt it forwards and backward. Although it’s not a deal breaker, in my opinion, it would be nice to have that extra bit of adjustability.

The Samsung Odyssey G5 is an excellent 1440p monitor for gaming. It has a high refresh rate, low response time, and a design.

Plus, it’s VESA mount compatible in case you want to mount it on a wall or a monitor arm. Compared to the other monitors on this list, this one has the best ergonomics.

Ultrawide Monitor – Lenovo G34w-10

Lenovo G34w-10

For people who both game and work on their PCs, an ultrawide monitor is a way to go.

With a 34-inch screen and a 21:9 aspect ratio, the Lenovo G34w-10 offers plenty of real estate for productivity apps and multitasking. But it’s also great for gaming, thanks to its 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and AMD FreeSync support.

The 1500R curved screen makes for a more immersive gaming experience. Plus, the resolution is 3440 x 1440p, which is Quad HD – so everything will look extremely sharp and detailed.

You won’t get disappointed with its image quality as well. The monitor uses a VA panel with a 3,000:1 static contrast ratio and 95% of the sRGB color space covered. So, colors will be accurate and vibrant.

The design and build quality of the Lenovo G34w-10 is good. The monitor has a nice, sleek look to it and is well-built. It also has a height adjustment, tilt, and swivel stand. However, it does not have a pivot stand, which is common with ultrawide monitors. It’s VESA mountable though, so you can easily mount it on a monitor stand or arm if you want to.

Overall, the Lenovo G34w-10 is a great ultrawide monitor that you can pair with your Radeon RX 6700 XT for immersive gaming and productivity experience.

4K Resolution – ASUS VP32UQ

To be honest, I don’t recommend gaming on a 4K monitor using the Radeon RX 6700 XT as the FPS result will not be as high as what you would get on a 1080p/1440p monitor. But of course, gaming isn’t the only thing that you would do on your computer and the 4K resolution will come in handy when you are a content creator or if you simply want to enjoy a sharper image.

Starting with the basic specification, the ASUS VP32UQ is a 31.5-inch 4K monitor with a 60Hz refresh rate and 16:9 aspect ratio. It also has a 4ms(GTG) response time, fast enough for most users.

The ASUS VP32UQ provides excellent image quality with its 100% sRGB color gamut and HDR10 support. It is further enhanced by the 10-bit color depth support. Moreover, the IPS panel of this monitor provides wide viewing angles of 178 degrees. The contrast ratio on the other hand is 1000:1 which is not that great, but it is still decent.

The design of the ASUS VP32UQ is quite good with slim bezels on three sides of the display. It also looks very professional with its dark grey and black finish. The stand of the monitor is also well-designed and provides good stability. Although it only offers tilt adjustment only, the monitor is VESA mountable.

Overall, it’s a good 4K monitor for professionals and content creators.
